Excellent Condition – this is the real deal. Beautiful DRAGONS HAND-CARVED into the CARRYING CASE with scenes from the EIGHT FAIRIES story depicted on the PAINTED TILES of the playing board. The CHESSMEN are made of SOAPSTONE – very nice. Each PAWN is unique and different from each other (possibly representing the 8 Fairies) Contains (2) RED FELT LINED Drawers on the sides to store Chess pieces including a STRAP to keep pieces in place and prevent damage during travel. Etched Brass Handles and Hinges. Open Case for Playing – 19″ x 19″ x 2 1/2. Closed Case – 19″ long x 9 1/2″ wide x 5 tall. KING is 3 1/2 tall. Pawn is 2 1/4 tall.
